Fresh Salted Skins
Fresh or natural sausage casings / skins are supplied in various sizes and come from sheep, hog or ox. They have a shelf life of 3 - 6 months and require soaking before use. These sausage casings or skins are supplied cleaned and salted in vacuum packs. Fresh natural casings need to be soaked for at least two hours in cold water before use.
