Ideal for Home Sausage Making these Collagen Beef Sausage Casings are dry casings made up of fibres of edible protein that are derived from bovine. These sausage casing or skins very easy to use and do not require any soaking, salting, cleaning or refrigeration. Store in a cool dry place. Collagen sausage casings have a longer shelf life than fresh sausage skins - approximately 2 years. They are elastic, strong and once filled they can be smoked, frozen, grilled, baked, fried or put in soups and casseroles. They allow the "real look" of the product to show through.
