Sausage Making at Cape Cornwall School
These pictures show some of the sausage making which took place last year. One page is from the GCSE project of Tom Myers. The other photos are from my Y10 class who were investigating recipes and ideas for barbeques.

A chicken sausage was particularly successful. Making their own was a great motivation. One pupil visited the local butcher who showed her how to link them. We would like to develop the project further next year and invite the butcher into school to show some of their ideas. Hopefully he could also judge their sausages. I am hoping that this will lead into even more of an enterprising activity in the future.

With this in mind, I am responsible for our school Trade Stand at a Trade Fair being run in conjunction with our County Education & Business Partnership. This will be a major event in our calendar and is being held at the Eden Project in November. I thought I would display some of the sausage making work done by the pupils.
